Fashion is just great for all those women who are nice and slim and so anything that you see on the cat walk is probably going to look good on them as well. But for the rest of us women who do not have the same figures as those top models we just can’t wear anything and everything just because it is in fashion. You have to decide what could suit you and realize what could make you look even a size larger than you are which you want to try and avoid doing at all costs. It has always been said that dark colours are very slimming and this is still true today and so for a start try and stick to all those warm colours like the chocolate browns, dark grey, black, navy and of course black. Having decided to do this you will already have taken a few kilos off yourself. Next don’t choose anything that is clingy as it will only show up any bulges much more, instead you should always opt for the clothes that are slinky and drape on you, in fact it’s a good times to buy clothes one size larger than the ones you usually use as that way your clothes will look loose and comfortable on you. A good example of what to wear for a slimming effect would be a pair of dark grey trousers worn with a three quarter length, slightly lighter grey, silk shirt teamed up with purple high heeled boots and a chain with a purple pendant and purple ear-rings to match. I can assure you that you will look one size smaller without even having gone on a diet. Remember also not to wear blouses tucked into your waistline but rather let them drape over it and if you want you could also put a waistcoat on top in a contrasting colour to give a modern touch to your whole outfit.
